We looked for several months at a variety of vehicles to determine their suitability and compatability for teaching learner drivers. In-Gear chose the 1.4 iDSI SE, which comes with air conditioning and a sunroof. The new Honda Jazz cars are also more enviromentally friendly. When considering which car to purchase we originally looked at Diesel models with other car dealerships. However, Honda Jazz only have a 1.4 iDSI engine throughout the range. The overall performance of the Jazz mean it does not need a Diesel version.

The approximate length of the Honda Jazz is just under four metres. The car sports large window areas for good all round vision, a reduced bonnet area, short overhang to the rear of the car and a light and easy to use five speed gear lever.

Safety was also especially high on our checklist as the Jazz comes with:-

(ABS) Anti-Lock Braking System.

(EBD) Electronic Brake Force Distribution.

High Level Mounted Brake Light.

Front & Rear Head Restraints.

Five, Three Point Seatbelts.
